For those of you that relish challenges climbing to the highest point in Africa (Uhuru Peak on Mount Kilimanjaro) will be a lifetime fulfilment. The breathtaking view of the diverse tropical landscape will prove to be worth every step of the challenging climb. DAYS MT.KENYA CLIMBING NARO-MORU ROUTE
DAY
1 Leave Nairobi for Naro-Moru town for lunch.
After lunch, drive to the Simbas lodge for the rest of the day and night acclimatizing. DAY
2 After breakfast, leave the Youth Hostel and drive to the main gate.
Start ascending the Mountain through the rain forest for ten Kilometres to the
Met Station for dinner and overnight. DAY
3
After breakfast, continue ascent to mackinders camp for dinner and overnight.
DAY
4 Wake up very early in the morning around 2.30 a.m. and attempt point
Lenana via Austrian hut. After point Lenana (17058ft), descend down to Mackinders
camp for breakfast and then descend down to Met station for dinner and overnight.
DAY
5 After breakfast, descend the last bit of the Mountain from Met station
via Naro Moru main gate for a short drive to Naro Moru town to catch your transport
to Nairobi where tour ends.

FIVE
DAYS MOUNT KENYA CLIMB SIRIMON ROUTE DAY
1 Leave Nairobi by a Safari Vehicle accompanied
by our mountain guide for lunch. Spend the remaining part of the day acclimatizing
due to the sudden change of altitude. Dinner and overnight at a hotel in Nanyuki.
DAY
2 Transfer from Your Nanyuki after breakfast to the Sirimon gate where
the climbing starts. Walk through the rain forest for 9 kms (5 hours walk) to
the first mountain hut - Old Moses (3500m)for dinner and overnight. DAY
3 After breakfast in Old Moses, continue climbing through Mackinders
Valley to the second hut Shipton hut (4200m) for dinner and overnight.
DAY
4 Early in the morning, we climb to point Lenana 4985m(17,058ft). On
a very clear day, we should be able to see Mount Kilimanjaro in the south, Mount
Elgon to the west and Indian Ocean to the east. We descend to Shipton camp for
main breakfast and soon after, descend to Old Moses for the night. DAY
5 After breakfast, transfer from Old Moses to catch transport to Nairobi
where the tour ends.

FIVE
DAYS CLIMB UP SIRIMON DOWN CHOGORIA DAY
1 Leave Nairobi by a Safari vehicle accompanied
by our mountain guide arriving Nanyuki in time for lunch. Afternoon is spent in
Nanyuki acclimatizing. Dinner and overnight in a hotel in Nanyuki. DAY
2 After breakfast you will be transferred by a 4x4 WD to the Met Station
and the Park headquarters. Walk upto Old Moses (Judmier Camp)(3,350m). Dinner
and overnight at the camp. DAY
3 After breakfast, walk via Mackinders Valley to Shipton Camp (4200).
Dinner and overnight at the camp. DAY
4 Walk up very early in the morning around 02.30 hrs. ready to hike to
point Lenana (4985m). On s clear day, we should be able to see Mt. Kilimanjaro
to the South, Mt Elgon to the west and the Indian Ocean to the east. After point
Lenana, descend to Mintos (4250m) for breakfast then proceed to Road head for
dinner and overnight. DAY
5 After breakfast, an early walk will take us to Chogoria for lunch then
back to Nairobi arriving in the afternoon having conquered Mt. Kenya.
