WWWSLO11: 14 days Masai Mara/Naivasha/Nakuru/Baringo- Bogoria/Samburu/Mt. Kenya/Amboseli/Tsavo West/Tsavo East

Day 1 Nairobi/Masai Mara

9.30 a.m. Depart Nairobi for Masai Mara Game Reserve, stopping at the view-point of the Great Rift Valley and at Narok town for lunch. On arrival proceed for a game drive in search of plains game, elephant, black maned lion, buffalo and cheetah among others. Return to the lodge or campsite for dinner and overnight.

Day 2 Masai Mara

After breakfast proceed for a full day of game viewing in this reserve which is essentially the northern extension of the Serengeti in Tanzania . Break for your picnic lunch at the hippo pool. In the evening drive back to your base lodge or campsite for dinner and overnight.

Day 3 Masai Mara

Another day of game drives in the Mara. Proceed on a morning game drive after breakfast. After lunch we give options for a game drive, nature walk or visit to a Masai village at extra cost. Dinner and overnight at the lodge or campsite.

Day 4 Masai Mara/Naivasha

After breakfast depart for Naivasha, arriving in time for lunch. After lunch proceed for a game drive in Hell’s Gate National Park . Dinner and overnight at a lodge or campsite.

Day 5 Lake Naivasha/Nakuru

After breakfast proceed to Lake Nakuru National Park for game viewing; the main attraction is the birdlife which comprises flamingoes, white pelicans and marabou stork. Other species seen include Cape buffalo waterbuck and Rothschild’s giraffe. Meals and overnight at the lodge or budget class hotel.

Day 6 Lake Nakuru/Lake Baringo

After breakfast drive to Lake Bogoria to view the hot springs . After lunch, drive to Lake Baringo for an hours boat ride which enables you to see hippos at dose range and the bird life that inhabits this lake. Dinner and overnight at a lodge or budget class hotel.

Day 7 Baringo/Samburu

After breakfast depart for Samburu Game Reserve via the Thompson Falls and Nanyuki town for lunch. Game drive enroute to the lodge or campsite for dinner and overnight.

Day 8 Samburu

Morning and afternoon game drives in Samburu tracking the rare drought resistant animals only seen North of the equator. Lunch and leisure break in the mid afternoon Dinner and overnight at the lodge or campsite.

Day 9 Samburu/Mt Kenya

After breakfast, leave Samburu for Nanyuki, arriving in time for lunch. After lunch visit the Mau Mau caves and waterfall, sampling the tranquil mountain atmosphere and pleasant countryside. Dinner and overnight at the lodge or budget hotel.

Day 10 Mt. Kenya/Amboseli

After breakfast, drive to Nairobi for lunch. Proceed to Amboseli arriving in the evening. Game drive enroute to the lodge or campsite for dinner and overnight.


Day 11 Amboseli

Morning and afternoon game drives in Amboseli with a lunch and leisure break in the mid afternoon. All meals and overnight at the lodge or campsite.

Day 12 Amboseli / Tsavo West

After breakfast drive to Tsavo West National Park arriving in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive and a visit to Mzima Springs which is Mombasa ’s source of drinking water. Dinner and overnight at the lodge or campsite.

Day 13 Tsavo West/Tsavo East

After breakfast drive to Tsavo East National Park . Lunch on arrival. Afternoon game drive. The park is known for it’s large population of elephants. Dinner and overnight at the lodge or campsite.

Day 14 Tsavo East/Nairobi

After breakfast and your last game drive, depart for Nairobi , lunch enroute. (You have the option to drop off at Voi town and catch public transport to Mombasa ).
